Fun sculptors
Popped into Stirling this afteronnon to see popular Scottish sculptors the Mach brothers, David and Richard, exhibition in the Smith museum and art gallery.
Their work uses two everyday materials, styrofoam beads and foil paper. The result is intriguing and eye catching. There were so many pieces to choose from that I am at a loss to select one for todays photo.
In the end I opted for this portrait of the late Queen ( see extras for more exhibits) and Brooke Cameron, front of house manager, agreed to pose with the work.
Delighted to learn museum attendance is back to pre-Covid levels. Certainly I have never seen the place so busy for years. This is very good news.
PS. Did I make the right choice?
