World Indoor Athletics Championship - Day 2
Started my shift outside today and enjoyed welcoming spectators to the arena for the evening session. Thankfully it wasn't quite as cold as it was last night. With everyone in we moved indoors and I was fortunate to see Josh Kerr take gold in the 3000m. The atmosphere was electric and when he went into the lead with 200m to go the crowd went wild. Another GB gold came in the pole vault when Molly Caudery cleared 4.80m.
In other shock sporting news Motherwell beat Rangers 2-1 at Ibrox. The last time that happened was 27 years ago, before either of these athletes were born.
