The Last Snow Storm

We hope this is the last storm of winter for us.
The Cascade and the Sierra mountains are going to be inundated big-time with snow in the next few days!  
We, on the Willamette Valley floor, will see only a skiff of evanescent snow. 
I hope these are not famous last words.
