Unknown: future...

Been to the doctors this morning for follow up with CT scan results.. Well.. not too good, not too bad either..

Metastasis on the lungs, on the liver and on the colon were behaving quietly, so that's good.. But the main CA on the pelvis apparently has increased in size again.. Although by quite small proportions, so still not too bad..Cup will always be half full.. Would you believe, after having had my CT scan last Thursday, they couldn't chase the official results even a week later?! Anyway, the increase in size is according to my consultant when she looked into the scan on the hospital's radiology intranet system.. Still to hear about exact measurements when they get to chase it down.. Oh well, won't stress myself with that. So, plan is not to have another chemotherapy just yet and to leave it/them alone for now - repeat CT scan after another 3 months..

So today's blip is a flower, albeit a little one from my next door neighbour's garden.. Pretty and different, but quite unknown to me.. Much like my future.. Sooner or later, someone within this lovely community would be able to identify it, and there would be light in the darkness of the unknown.. So while there's life, there is always hope. What cannot be treated or explained by science can always find enlightenment and strength in faith.. So friends, no pity ok? All I ask is prayers, and stars and hearts, haha! .. For as long as there is life, there is always a reason to smile..

On a lighter note, picked up dear friend A from Sheffield Train Station, went home to have tea, and went out for a late film -- The Man of Steel himself, SUPERMAN! "People are afraid of what they don't understand.."

But I say: "The unknown is not to fear, it is to be conquered.."
