View of Paris

This painting has an interesting history. It was painted in 1962 by a French physicist named Louis Le Prince-Ranguet who lived from 1901 to 2000. When my family traveled to Europe in 1962 we visited him in his apartment in Paris. He was a painter as well as a physicist and he had this painting of the view from his apartment window which he gave to my mother. I still have the painting.
