Some afternoon sunshine followed a cold dull and damp morning. I walked to Waterhead so I could pop into a few shops on the way back and continue the present hunt.
I went out with the bird food about 7.30, stood still and scanned the hedge. No sign of the robin. Then there was a chirp and I looked up. It was on the top of the clothes post. Seed duly placed on the bench before filling the other feeders and then I slowly glanced around like yesterday to see both robins again. Perhaps I’ll see baby robins later in the year.
