Apricot blossom

The warm sunshine has brought out the blossom on our little apricot tree. It has been a beautiful day, quite warm in the sunshine but chilly in the shade. The blossom is pretty, but we have only had fruit one year sadly. However, it is an attractive tree so it doesn’t really matter that it doesn’t fruit.
Following on from yesterday’s camellia flower blip, I discovered today that it did catch the frost, the ground underneath it is littered with tiny buds. Such a pity.
