Afternoon Sun

We had a late afternoon walk in the park, and on the way back the sun was still shining. The light changes through the day and there can be a depth to it at this time.

So here we have a Lime tree that has recently had the shoots around the lower few metres pruned by the Community Payback Team. They have also cleared the soil/mud from the edge of the road. Looks a bit tidier and is easier to walk along with the dog.

In the background is the steeple of a disused church. The diocese have been trying to find a use for it for quite a few years without success. Meanwhile they have to maintain it as it is a Grade 2 listed building.
