Glory and Grief

Bengt rang this afternoon to say Gunilla had died, so awfully sad. Trying to help with practical arrangements, difficult to know what is help and what isn’t.

And then, almost immediately, Becca’s birthday at São Bento, right next to Bengt and Gunilla’s house. Both her sisters were there, from Australia and England, and the light as the sun set was stunning.

Gratefuls:
- church, third Sunday in Lent, full for one month mass since Feijão’s death
- good time with Sergio, the new guy at the Adega
- Mizette making a speech and us all drinking to Gunilla at Sem Fim, and Lizette singing, ending with Cohen’s “Hallelujah”
