I THINK DRAGONFLIES ARE SO COOL!!!

Woke up not feeling too well. This hormonal roller coaster is getting old.
Wanted to stay in bed all day. Made myself get up and go to work. Felt
better as the day went on. Happy because we had a singing talent show thing to go to tonight and I really wanted to go.
It was fun! It's the Texaco Country Showdown. Our business is one of the main sponsors. It's a pretty big deal and considered the largest country music competition in the United States. Some well known singers came from it like Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride and others. It's pretty neat that one of the 5 regional finals is held in our town! One winner from each of the 5 go on to Nashville and compete in the big final. Last year the winner of our regional was Poor Mans Poison. We were there for that and they were great and our pick to win. They went on to win the whole thing. Very fun!! Tonight was a semi final. There were 18 contestants and each sang two songs. Maybe we saw the big final winner tonight???? Anyhow, the 14 that went on tonight will compete at our Coos County Fair next month then move on to the regional finals this fall where winners from other western states semi finals will all compete to go to Nashville.
