New day

What a difference a day makes! We still have snow on the hills across the valley but mostly melted in the garden. Today we spent most of the day outside making the most of the dry and the sunshine. Reg enjoyed paddling and snacking on the grasses in the natural pond that forms at the bottom of the garden when there is lots of water. The previous owners put down a liner but this is obviously well past it's best and doesn't hold water for long. One day when there are few less other jobs to do we will reinstate it properly. In the meantime I have put down water containers and it's still quite boggy except in real heat. I spent the day pottering in the garden and greenhouse and Barry did some hedge laying. Reg spent the whole day wandering or snoozing in his bed outside, watching the world go by. All in all a very pleasant day was had by all.
