REEEAAAADEEEE!

Al Murray the pub landlord was very funny last night. We were pleased to have gone.

A beautiful bright Sunday morning made it a given that we would go out for a walk. Pretty soon the grandies wanted to pay hide 'n' seek. With the little ones you have to virtually stand in front of them before they see you.

Then the kids were taken off to the recycling centre to hunt for treasures*. They came back with armfuls of toys and the dads had practical things like a garden parasol and a suitcase. I didn't get there because there wasn't any room in the car.

Next up, a delicious pork roast with crackling. Little Monty had taken a tumble and decided he had a sprained ankle and couldn't walk. So we borrowed a pair of child size crutches and soon he was proudly stomping around the kitchen. He cant wait to show them off to his friends at school tomorrow.

*plastic tat. Which they love.
