Dawn

When I looked out of the back bedroom window at 06.06am it looked like it might be a decent day but an hour later everything was obscured by thick fog which eventually gave way to rain. The large oak tree is in the field that adjoins our property. The well which was the only source of water to the house until the late 1970s lies just to the left of the tree. As a consequence we have rights of access across the field. I haven't been in there yet but I did have a long chat over the gate with the farmer this morning. Apparently the Texel cross sheep are about to have their lambs.
