The Great British summer!

Sports day today. Rained off after an hour but I had at least seen both kids win their sprint races by then.

Have to drop hubby at the hospital in an hour for his arthroscopy and have then arranged to meet a friend for lunch and a bit of shopping before the school pick up. Should keep my mind off things!

Ollie is supposed to have a cricket match later so expecting that to be rained off too! Anticipating a quiet weekend although we do have a big surprise in store for Ollie. He's a very lucky boy!
