More rain!

No park run for me today as mum taxi is required! Although MrK called his first wknd work off, because of the rain, so we both took FK and a fellow cadet down to Chalkwell, Southend for their road marching - 26km in two days.
We came back via Battlesbridge, a whole village of antiques and salvage. We made our way to the top floor for a 360° view of the area, for a cuppa and a slice of cake. We then wandered down the 5 floors of various antiquities. Across the courtyard there was another whole area of independent units and I got chatting to a man making a bird house from an old sycamore base and a Christmas tree trunk. It then started to chuck it down. So we quickly ran back to the car.
When home I settled myself into the happylittleshed and lost myself in an afternoon of mosaicing. 
FK home late afternoon for family evening together.
An unexpectedly lovely day, despite the rain. It made for a beautiful evening sky from the kitchen window.
