Common Cord Moss

I noticed  this moss on the damp garden stone wall and was struck by its beauty. Not being a botanist, although I love plants, there aren't many details here but it is also called Bonfire Moss or Funaria hygrometrica.  Mosses are a whole different subject which I don't know anything about except there is a lot of moss in my wet garden!

Spent an enjoyable afternoon having lunch with G in her home nearby and three others.
