Sunny Willow

A bit of a rush job today, knowing I wouldn't have time later in the day. I prefer the softer light towards sunset for photography, but this morning's full sun was something different.

Willow fronds starting to turn yellow are usually the first signs of spring and a welcome change from browns and greys of late. In the sunshine they took on a glow, hanging like a veil. I like the variation in tone as I scan across the image.
