Colinton Tunnel

We went for a first look at Merchiston Castle School today, where Orla will be sitting her exams in May. It was just to make the place seem more familiar, but also will have created an image in Orla's mind that will serve as motivation.

We parked in Colinton and walked through this tunnel, then up the Water of Leith and right round the perimeter of the school and past the gigantic Redford Infantry Barracks. Colinton itself looks to have a few nice restaurants.
