Prunings

After visiting a friend this morning, I took advantage of the rain-less afternoon and managed to get the huge buddleia pruned ready for spring. It’s got really big and part of me wants to dig it out completely as it takes over the flower bed when it’s fully grown each year. But I’m not sure how I’d manage to actually dig it out. There were far too many cuttings to fit in my green bin this week but is all cut up and in bags ready to be decanted when it’s next empty. I used the garage to do part as it looked like it might start raining but it stayed dry in the end. Glad to have got that job done - it’s been on my list for a few weeks.
