Latest creation

A friend's granddaughter is expecting a baby in the summer, so I found some lovely variegated wool and this is the result. I'm quite pleased with it. 
I'm not quite so pleased with the wool I ordered to complete the jumper for my neighbours almost 5 year old...... it's the same shade, and although I knew that the dye lot would be different, I expected the colour to be closer to the wool I already had. There's a distinct difference in colour, so much difference that I have started the jumper again, despite having already completed the front, back and one sleeve. I'll need to get on with it - it's just 2 weeks until the birthday!!!
