Canal du Midi

After some frantic chocolate cake icing, fudge slicing and picnic pricing, we are finally off on our weekend break. A picnic for me and Mr B on the banks of the Canal du Midi (I think his footwear choice was more sensible than mine given the cold grey weather).

Now we are waiting in Bram for instructions on how to drive our boat. Though as we've just discovered our restaurant for this evening is right here at the boat hire place, that may be a moot point.
