The Gallops

I was very lucky this morning to be invited to my friend's racing stable in the Cotswolds.
I was there for 7am to watch the race horses on 'the gallops'.
It was a really awful morning...rain, mist and cold. Not a warm summer's morn at all!
But hey...it was still a great experience and the biggest lesson I learned was...it's
bloody hard photographing racing horses in the rain and low light!
Hopefully I'll have a chance to go back and have another go...
