And now for something completely different .. .. .
We re-visited the nearby town of Tulle. On our way we passed the Tulle Viaduct which is a masterpiece of engineering and carries the motorway between Bordeaux and Clermont-Ferrand. 425m long and 150m high as it spans the valley. When we reached Tulle we would have liked to go into the Cathedral of Notre Dame but there was a funeral in progress so we settled for a blip of another piece of amazing engineering - the scaffolding around the spire of the Cathedral.
We have "Wimbledon weather" today. Overcast and drizzle. Well it had to happen sometime we suppose.
