Busy day with house related organisation. Another valuation this time with a firm specialising in older more unique properties. Still the same range as the local estate agent but slightly more expensive. So we now need to decide who is best placed to get the best price as what we realise will fund our next move. Needless to say our investment in 1986 was not a bad one.

It is nearly a year since our lives changed with Richard’s kidney failure. Since then the focus has been on his recovery and preparing the house for sale. Fortunately Richard is doing a lot better and attended his first Pilates class in a year. This book was a timely reminder to not loose sight of what is important to us.
