Pink sailor...

Lovely day of Spring sunshine today, after a misty start!!  these are the kinds of days we like!

We ventured into Southend as we needed to visit a couple of shops, and then ended up along the seafront at our favourite cafe where the owner was very happy to see us! So much so that when we going to leave he brought us out another cup of tea each - on him! - to keep us sitting in the sunshine for a little while longer!  He loves to play Elvis songs too so we enjoyed being serenaded by the King as we watched the world go by!

This piece of street art is right by the lifts that take you up to the town centre from the seafront and always makes me smile!
