The Octopus Tree…

.. Not named by me, but by a lady who was standing by it and most kindly stood aside for me to take the snap. She (another ‘tree enthusiast’) pointed out the ‘eye’ quite near the bottom and (happily) showed me the other, matching ‘eye’ on the other side.
Some people in parks are lovely aren’t they?
From some angles this tree does indeed look just like an octopus.
