The Conduit, Sherborne

The Conduit was the place where the medieval monks belonging to the Abbey behind made their ablutions.  It is now where the Christmas crib for the town is placed.

I drove over to Sherborne for a dental visit - just for a check-up and fortunately nothing needed to be done!  Bought some children's books in the Hospice charity shop next door for for J and I and a lovely sunny drive back through the lanes.  Meeting in the evening which finished on time!
