Top Pump

We drove through Heptonstall again today on our way to Colne (much more interesting than the 'valley route'). 
Way back in time the people of Heptonstall depended for their water on four pumps. This is the 'Top o' th' Town' pump - the last one remaining  (but  I don't think it still works) ....
The 'before' is c1890 and the 'after' is 2024 - all the cans had identifying marks/initials on them.
