First day of spring

I had to go on campus today as nowhere to work at home. Train cancelled, had to go all the way into the city (extra ££), couldn’t use my own laptop as my adaptor was home, couldn’t start the right program, and on went the glitches.. it was ok in the end.
The highlight of the day, the week.. was a msg from my Kuwaiti friend whom I haven’t seen since I left four years ago to say ‘let’s meet tonight’. He’d only arrived today so it was nice he had the energy. So much talking, so much to catch up on!
