Lofoten panorama

I’m tried creating a panorama of a scene in the Lofoten. It does look nice, but it’s near impossible to capture the waves in consecutive shots in such a way that they line up nicely in the resulting image when all the individual shots are stitched together. I tried it in Lightroom and I tried it in photoshop, but it seems some more wizardry is needed to get the waves looking correctly.
