Free Tree

Not really - it was the items under the tree that were being given away.
This trend started in the village during the first lockdown - people decluttered but were not able to sell items as cash wasn’t being used at that time, so people put photos of their items on Facebook and left them in front of their house to be taken by whoever wanted them ………. and some didn’t even put them on Facebook, just left them out with a sign on.
It proved to be very popular so has continued - it sometimes makes for an interesting walk when you can stop part way round to have a bit of a rummage………….. but not great if you’re a hoarder like me - I sometimes have to employ immense willpower not to bring home more ‘stuff’ ………. however, I wasn’t tempted today ;-))
