I went into the office today. I decided to take the Park&Ride as it is half a mile nearer to home than the parking lot in town and the bus ticket is £3.50 and the parking is £6.20. In the morning the first bus didn't turn up and in the evening I had to wait 30 minutes for a bus that is scheduled every 20 minutes. No wonder so few people are using it. When I used the P&R every day for a few years a while ago, the parking and buses were full and in the afternoons buses would often just drive past because they were packed and we had to wait for the next one, which was 10 minutes later. Today there were 12 cars in the parking lot when the bus left a 8:55.
I got a meal deal from Tesco on the way back.
