Monaco

Went with E&H in their car to Monaco as E had a medical appointment there. R and I went sightseeing around the city. They are preparing for the Grand Prix so there was a lot of stand building going on. I am glad I went and it was good to walk on the hill overlooking the area but it’s a long way from being beautiful. The architecture is random in style and the buildings are cramped together. The boats are impressive and the money in the area is obvious (especially when you eat an expensive lunch there as we did) but I can’t really see why anyone would live there (apart from the tax regime).
