Panjiayuan Market
I strolled down to the antiques market this afternoon. I've been a few times, but always in the summer. I hear in autumn they have cricket fighting! Anyway, it's really just a giant car-boot/garage sale, with a few permanent shops around the perimeter. There are rows and rows of blankets covered with old family heirlooms you can bargain for. I'm terrible at this sort of thing, but I'd say there must be a few hundred sellers. I'm told it's best to go when they open (at 4:30AM!!!), but I think that's just to avoid the crowds which is most of the reason I go in the first place.
