Laney and I were up and out for a walk early today. It is one of those hurry up and wait days. I have a trip planned to Breck this afternoon for a long weekend, but I've been called for possible jury duty this afternoon. I won't know until midday. So this morning I am packing and gassing up the car in hopes of being totally excused from duty. Plan B is that I will be excused from duty by process of elimination after showing up, and Plan C is that I will get away to somewhere closer after the trial is over.
