Our New View...

...or part of it anyway.
The big machines seemed to have moved on so they have taken all the trees that are going. Our landscape is not totally denuded as they have left several of the mature birch trees.
This is the first day since they started felling that has been sunny all day. It felt beautifully bright and gave us more light (and warmth) than we previously had.
Monika and Andy headed off to Stockholm for their last few Swedish days. They enjoyed a sunny journey through Sweden on the train, and reached their hotel in time for the free "fika" (snack), and even got upgraded to a room with comfortable armchairs!  Our house now seems very quiet but I enjoyed the sun and did a little white gym removing a little of the ridiculously deep snow (see extra) behind Betty's so we can have a sunny place to sit on that veranda.
My final activity today is doing some catch-up work on Blipfoto. Pictures from today and backblips (28/29 Feb, 1 March) to fill some of the gaps. More will follow.
