Gainfully employed

It was all change today. Yesterday afternoon a text and a phone call determined what we planned to do today and tomorrow, but the parcel delivery that we were intending to stay in for today was sent to the wrong parcel centre. All change!!! 

A change in the weather also influenced things. From 12 degrees yesterday to 5 degrees today, it was too cold to garden. The two person jobs were cancelled.

We went to Tesco’s to do a proper shop, rather than the ‘just what we need’ which I’ve done for the last 3 weeks. It was incredibly busy, I didn’t realise that Thursday was so popular. 

After my efforts in the garden yesterday I was wiped out today, so had a nap on the settee. Amber took up her favourite spot when I’m sleeping, to keep me warm. A very big hottie!!
