Larking around

The grass - or moss and wildflowers, if you like - got its first mowing of the year while Janet had a medical, and then Brendan and Sarah came over in the afternoon for a walk and a pint and a meal - my favourite combination!

Janet led the walk, which you already know means we took the muddiest route through the thickest, stickiest mud. Happily no-one actually fell over or lost a boot, and she made up for it with a lovely meal. :-)

This skylark was probably bemused by all the fuss...
