So tiny !
After putting the photo of Lucy’s hamster Bean the other day I tried VERY hard to get the tiny one she actually took on from a terrible place a few months before big Bean , so this is Pudding and she’s tiny and very very fast so it takes a long time to get a picture that is relatively in focus . These tiny hamsters still need a very big running wheel to avoid curvature of the spine …. in the wild hamsters will run up to 6 miles a night .
Hamsters* are essentially useless pets to children because it’s rare they wake up in the day or even early evening, they scream when terrified and bite very hard …. Well ours don’t but then I have the luxury of being able to sit with them and get them used to me , as does Lucy when she’s back from uni .
*disclaimer that there are the odd exceptions ;-))
