A beautiful day in the St Ninians’ neighbourhood

A sunny morning to see the heart of my youth: the Pelstream, St Ninians Kirk yerd and the old village and reflect on the Roman inheritance, C6&12th Christian communities, the old cross, 1314 and Bruce’s accidental genius and then the crazy sliding doors of 1746 from Falkirk to Stirling Castle to Culloden. And en route, a hug for the dear auldyins.
