FIRST ROSE of 2024

My ROSES were pruned hard in late December & have been resting ever since.
All the recent rain seems to have sent a signal to this climber; so, the first bud is reaching for the sky.

Crazy weather today. We had sun &
big puffy clouds, until a few minutes ago
when it thundered twice & the sky turned dark. We rarely get thunder & lightning,
so it will probably be in the news!
