Still life

Intended to have another picnic but was such a horrible day, drizzling all the time, that we gave up and stayed in. My friend's partner is a keen artist and these flowers on a side table with their backdrop of paintings looked so pretty I thought it might be worth a photo - not enough light but I liked the gaze of the 17th century-style gent.
