Forth Road Bridge

I finished work a bit later today, so headed off to North Queensferry in Fife for a wander, taking advantage of the early evening sunshine, where I blipped the Forth Road Bridge.

The Forth Road Bridge is a suspension bridge opened in 1964, and which spans the Firth of Forth, connecting Edinburgh, at South Queensferry, to Fife, at North Queensferry. It replaced a centuries-old ferry service to carry vehicular traffic, cyclists, and pedestrians across the Forth; rail crossings are made by the adjacent and historic Forth Bridge.

The weekend is here, hurrah, and the start off a week off from work, double hurrah!
