Out With The Old

The Carbunkle finally closed to the public today so I thought it fitting to take a last look around. I was surprised actually by how many people were in there reading, studying and surfing. It makes you wonder where they will all go on Monday. Most areas were already closed off so you couldn't go anywhere that actually resembled a library unfortunately. I'm sure the new library will be bigger, better, brighter but it's still a little sad to see this place close given that it was where a lot of my A level studies and sheet music browsing took place in the 1980's. Now I just need to remember to call my posting of the new library 'In With The New'.
