Games Night

Went a walk with Saffy this morning. Poor Sandra was having lots of trouble getting her blue badge renewed. I had great sympathy with her as it’s an arduous process with the local Council , renewed every three years.

Of course I had no patience whatsoever when it was Mum’s renewal of hers. It’s a 15 page form to fill in, repeating the same dam thing every year if you have a person with a disability they aren’t going to improve from, and also given a persons age too, it’s just bonkers.

One year they sent me the wrong form and I filled it in and the. They sent the right one back after realising g their mistake. I replied saying that I had already filled in the other one, nothing has changed since 3 years ago so please send me the blue badge. And they did lol!

It seems there is a giant hold up in issuing them as it has to go to an occupational therapist for the OK. Council systems are cumbersome and make no sense . We told her to ck tact her local councillor and she phoned me in the afternoon to say that after speaking to him her badge is now on its way! Hooray!

Had a games night with the Club I belong to, one of the monthly events. I nearly didn’t go as I was a cold night and I was walking down but I gave myself a shaking and went and had a great time.

This is one of the games but I didn’t play this. There was 18 of us there.
