Wills Memorial Building

Went to a special service of thanksgiving at the University of Bristol - held every year for those, like my mother, who have died and left their bodies for medical research. It was a good occasion held in the Great Hall of the Wills Memorial Building, where Ross graduated a few decades ago now! The Wills family, tobacco manufacturers, are significant Bristol benefactors. TheUniversity was founded by Wills senior and the building we were in today was given in his memory by his 2 sons, one of whom, H. H., gave his name to the Physics Department building where Ross and I first met.
