Snowball fight

After a busy week, I got up late and explained to Anya and Max that today would be a chilled day, we wouldn’t be doing much, we all needed some calm time. An hour later, after a very late breakfast, and from nowhere I suddenly had the feeling we needed to be somewhere. “Max, when is Jessica’s party?”
“Oh yes, it’s today Mummy!”
The party started in 15 minutes, we weren’t even dressed. I think we broke a record, having never got ready and out of the house so quickly! Considering it was a 20 minute drive, we only arrived 15 minutes late. Max refused to join in for the first half (we needn’t have rushed!)
He did love the indoor snowball fight at the end though :)
I now need to schedule in a lazy day for another time…
