Just as we'd got a bit used to the weather warming up a tiny bit, today was grey and dreich with a biting wind. No birds on the Water at all - the only things moving were the flags outside Hemingways. Hadn't noticed - apart from a couple of their own flags and a saltire, there's a Leith flag. Not sure I'd seen one of those before. They were flapping about so violently that this was the only pic in which you can see the name, even if it is arsey-versey.
And for info, for any blip friends of Old Bat, this is an extract from a FB post by her daughter:
“Mums funeral will be on the 11th March 10.30 at Warriston Crematorium, Cloister Chapel, Edinburgh. All Jacky’s friends and colleagues are welcome. Please feel free to pass this invitation on. No funeral flowers but donations to Action to ME would be appreciated instead. Mum would have wanted people to wear whatever they feel comfortable wearing rather there be any dress code.”
