A cold and windy start to the day. As I was getting ready to go out I noticed rain on the window. Decided to go in the car then I could just have a drive if it got wetter.

I headed towards Coniston and spotted a few spaces in the Glen Mary car park not far beyond Yew Tree Tarn. First wander was on the footpath west from Yew Tree farm where I took the photo. There was a bit of rain at the start but it soon stopped. Then I walked back to the car and part of the way up to Tarn Hows.
