No pom-pom hair cut here
I was back at work this week and I had to pick up the pieces. In the fortnight I was away a lot of work had been done but sadly some of it needed to be undone, and I spent a lot of this week undoing it and then putting it back together. I don't think my colleagues did a bad job but they couldn't see the big picture, so they made code changes that made sense at the scale they could see the problem, but the result wasn't what I had planned. In the end I didn't actually write much new code, but I did a lot of rearranging....
My fluffy companion doesn't care about my work as long as I turn up on schedule and take him for a walk and he gets to chase rabbits. There weren't many rabbits about, so not much chasing but a lot of sniffing and looking.
For those that think that poodles are just soppy show dogs with silly hairdos they are very wrong. The puddle hound is an old hunting breed that is a super intelligent and super athletic dog, that has influenced and is an ancestor to many of the modern specialised hunting dog breeds. The smaller versions are a lot newer than the standard, but they are still basically the same dogs with the same drives but in smaller sized bodies. Behaviour wise, the silly hairdos you see in the show ring make no sense at all - not matter what people protest - as poodles loves wet undergrowth and love coming come covered in mud and full of random bits of vegetation. As an actual hunting dog the only cut that makes sense is a general all over shortish cut - no pom-poms required...!
